Hello and welcome to my page! My name is Valerie and I am a portrait photographer living with my husband on our growing farm in Filer, Idaho.  We are greatly outnumbered by our animals, who provide nearly constant entertainment.

Growing up, I have always sought to capture moments through various art mediums.  As a child, it was primarily through pencil sketches.  Everything changed when I was given my first point-and-shoot camera in college, and portrait photography immediately became my focus.  I believe in lifelong learning and I apply this mantra to all aspects of my life.

Beautiful photos belong on display for all to see; not stored and lost among the thousands of items we keep on our devices.
